试论唐代寄托传记的小说化倾向及其成因

On the Inclination to Novel of Leaving Biography in Tang Dynasty and the Causes

唐代的寄托传记,如韩愈的《毛颖传》、柳宗元的《河间传》和《李赤传》等,因其虚构的传主、离奇的情节而呈现出浓郁的小说化倾向。究其原因有三:发其郁积,自我保护;传奇兴盛,濡染沾溉;奇味之说,一新耳目。

Leaving Tang Dynasty biography, e.g. Mao Ying biography by Han Yu, Liu Zongyuan＇s He Jian biography and Li Ci biography and so on, displays rich inclination to novel because of the fietive biography hosts, the uncanny plots and the novel style of writing. There are three reasons for that：the writers want to express their smolder and protect themselves; legend is popular and they want to attempt it too; this kind of interesting and strange novels can make people find everything new and fresh.
