This paper analyzes the discipline-centered curriculum system and advantages and disadvantages of problem-based learning （PBL）. The discipline-centered curriculum system has been reformed and optimized for the integration of the disciplinecentered curriculum system and PBL so as to conform to the social development and the progress of medical sciences.
