On Relations between Safavid Empire in Iran and Mogul Empire in India

16-17世纪的伊斯兰世界三大帝国鼎足而立,萨法维王朝为了对抗西邻奥斯曼帝国,对东邻印度莫卧儿帝国基本执行友好交往的战略。两国对坎大哈的反复争夺并未影响双方的基本关系,同时由于地理位置的临近、皇室关系的密切、穆斯林的认同和波斯文化影响力的历史惯性,波斯文化对莫卧儿帝国产生了多重影响,一定程度上改变了南亚次大陆的宗教结构和文化结构。

In 16th-17th century, there were three empires in the Islamic world, to resist its western enemy, Ottoman Empire, Safavid dynasty made friends with its Eastern neighbour, the Mogul empire in India, Struggle for Qandahar between two countries had not influenced basic relations between them, at the same time,because of near positions,intimate relations between two royal families, identification with Muslin, historic inertia of influence of Persia culture, Persia culture had produced great effects on the Mogul Empire in India, to some degrees,changed religion structure and culture structure in Sub-continent in the Southern Asia.
