In 2008,Gabriele cooperated with Will Smith again and brought us another attracting movie,Seven Pounds.As a Hollywood blockbuster,it has a good box-office income.And it really make people think deeeply about human’s nature and social morality,etc.Actually,it is a good representation of Freudian phychoanalysis.This thesis attempts to undertake a psychoanalytic study of Seven Pounds in the light of Sigmund Freud’s theory of the structures of mind. Through the research the thesis tends to analyze the connection between the hero’s,Tim Thomas(played by Will Smith),phychology and his ultimate destiny.And then furtherly uncover the causes of this moving tragedy.
