左翼作家革命情结的生成源于现代化的焦虑与渴望,在苏联革命的启示下,他们选择了由革命而走向"现代"的道路。从"文学革命"到"革命文学",是左翼作家革命情结的生成过程。这种革命情结在政治的肯定、诱导下逐渐定型、僵化。从革命视角出发,左翼文学中出现了贬低知识分子、美化工农的倾向,造成了启蒙者与启蒙对象的错位。
