EPC general contract mode now is a popular method of project contract and management, with the development of engineering industry in the recent ten years. EPC general contract is applicable to the projects with fixed price and fixed construction period, for which the overall engineering, procurement and construction will all be undertaken by subcontractors. With the development of the general contract markets of engineering and construction, the maturity of owners＇ management, the challenge of globalization markets, and the involvement of international engineering companies, the competition becomes more and more intense in the EPC general contract market.
