The punching mode of five stages progressive die is an advanced mode, and it can replace the punching die of single seat mode in punching process. This thesis introduces the design method of punching mode of five stages progressive die for punching rotor plates of minimotor. The main points of design procedure and the detailed machinary graphs are presented. The die was applied to production, and achieve good results. 
