A new type AC voltage regulator controlled by a single chip micro computer is developed.Three advantages brought by the new design are:(1)efficiency of AC voltage regulator is higher than 90%;(2)time of action is 20 ms;(3)both weight and volume of the instrument are decreased considerably.
