关于2008年全国大学生英语竞赛D类(高职高专类)初赛考试的调查与分析

A Study of the Implementation of 2008 National English Contest for College Students(Level D-Preliminary)

本次调查对参加2008年全国大学生英语竞赛D类(高职高专类)初赛考试的学生就本次考试的内容和组织方式进行了调查,并对采集的数据以定量和定性相结合的方式进行了分析。本次竞赛基本上得到了考生的肯定和认可,但仍在听力时间过长对学生心理产生消极影响、缺乏相应的辅导材料、公布样题的时间有些晚、口试的空缺方面存在不足。有必要在未来的竞赛中解决这些问题以提高竞赛的效果。

This research is conducted among the students who have just taken 2008 National English Contest for College Students （Level D-Preliminary）. Qualitative and quantitative analysis is made of the data concerning the content of the contest and its organization. The findings of the research indicate that the contest is commonly accepted by students. However, shortcomings are identified in terms of the negative influence on the students＇ psychology due to long-term listening time, guidance materials, the late promulgation of sample test and the elective oral test. They need to be overcome so as to improve on the contest.
