On the Suburbanization of Chinese Feature and Countermeasures

郊区化是城市发展过程中的一个阶段,既是城市生活方式的延伸,又是城市地域结构的进化,本文试图科学地定义郊区及郊区化,在此基础上分析中国城市郊区化的现状及其特点,并比较了中国郊区化不同于西方的地方,同时试图提出相应的政策建议。

Suburhanization is one of the stages in the process of suburbanization, which is not only the extention of urban lifestyle but the evolution of city＇s regional structure. This paper tries to give the definition of the suburb and suburbanization exactly, and analyzes the general situation of Chinese suburbanization on that basis. And then it tries to locate the features of Chinese suburbanization and give some suggestions.
