临震预报是世界级的难题,要想实现临震预报,就必须抓住地震前兆及相关的地球物理、地球化学参数与发震的确切关系。在临震预报问题还没解决之前,大力加强地震设防工作是尤其重要的。尽快在地震危险区建立地震预警机制是必要而且可行的。

The earthquake prediction is a worldwide difficult problem. If want to solue this problem, the quatitative relationship among earthquake indications, relative parameters of geophysical and geochemical phenomena should be determined. Before the solution of earthquake prediction, it is more important to enhance the earthquake prevent. It is necessary and feasible to make earthquake early warning system on the seismic active areas.
