摘要
表观遗传是指DNA序列不发生改变,而基因表达却发生可遗传的改变。表观遗传的现象很多,如DNA甲基化、基因组印记、基因沉默、核仁显性和休眠转座子激活等。DNA甲基化是表观遗传学最重要的研究内容之一,是调节基因功能的重要手段。笔者对植物甲基化的特征和表观遗传作用研究进行简单的叙述。
Epigenetic phenomena , heritable changes in phenotype , and hence in gene regulation , but not in DNA sequence, occur in the process of polyploidization in many plants. These phenomena include gene silencing , DNA methylation , nucleolar dominance , transposable elements activation and genomic imprinting. DNA methylation was considered as one of the common forms of DNA modification in plant cell genomes , and was a key regulator of plant development . In this review, the authors simply introduced the characteristics and role study of plant methylation, its epigenetic functions.
