摘要
如何规划将来的学术图书馆是一个持续不断被关注的专业性话题。本文对新泽西ACRL(高校图书馆协会)和费尔利迪金森大学图书馆举办的"2012年的高校图书馆"为主题的征文竞赛进行了总结,分为三个议题:技术的发展,图书馆的职能以及图书馆员的角色。技术进步作为发展的原动力,决定着学术性图书馆未来的走向;图书馆功能的再造,排名第二;而图书馆员的角色和行为位居第三。
How to plan for the future of academic libraries is a continuing concern as a topic of professionalism. In this paper, the essay contest of ＂The Academic Library in 2012＂ as the theme hosted by New Jersey ACRL （ Association of University Library ） and Fairleigh Dickinson University Library were summarized, and three topics are divided ： technology innovation, functions of the Librarians and of libraries, technological progress as the driving force of development determins the future direction of academic libraries; reengineering library functions comes the second; and the role of the librarian places the third.
