图书馆学情报学向何处去?——新技术条件下的学科定位问题

Where is Library and Information Science going?——On the orientation of the subject under new technology conditions

本文对图书馆学情报学的学科定位问题进行了反思，认为学科名称的失当和学科定位的庸浅，是图书馆学难以立足的根本原因；社会对“情报”根深蒂固的偏见以及我们长期自囿于“科技情报”的失误，使“情报学”成了一门不伦不类、进退两难的学科；以“信息管理”或其变种作为我们的未来学科归属，无异于再次作茧自缚；无论从现实上还是从理论上来分析，“信息学”

Abstract The reason why library science has difficulty to gain of footing is ambiguity of the subject name and superficial view of the subject orientation.Informatics became a nondescript subject as a result of the prejudice about “information”.We confine ourself to “Sci-tech information”.The future subject is named after“information management”,it gets enmeshed in a web of our own spinning. By analysis of reality and theory,the paper holds that “information science” is our only correct selection.
