In this paper, the seriousness of the electric energy loss in the low-voltage distribution lines of the civil buildings, the significance and concrete measures of shortening the low-voltage distribution lines on energy-saving and material-saving are discussed; the importance and possibility, the reasonable setting of the substations and power distribution rooms as well as the location of electric shafts in civil buildings are analyzed.
