思想政治教育资源就其本性而言,是为广大思想政治教育者所开发和利用,并为思想政治教育活动目的服务的,因而也就产生了功能和效应问题。主要阐述了思想政治教育资源功能的多种表现形态,即基础性功能、拓展性功能、元功能、本功能、构功能。

As for the purpose of ideological and political education activities, resources of ideological and political education （RIPE） can be developed and utilized by numerous ideological and political educators. Thus out comes the problems of functions and effects. This article elaborates 5 kinds of manifestation of functions of RIPE ： basic function, extending function, meta-function,id-function and structural function.
