On the Translation of Metaphor in Chinese Classical Poetry

从认知的角度,通过构建隐喻及其翻译过程的认知模型,对隐喻在不同语言中的重构机制进行了研究,同时,针对不同文化对隐喻认知的影响加以分析,进而提出了中国古代诗歌中隐喻的翻译策略及方法。

The ancient Chinese poetry is called as a rich treasury of metaphor. The study of translating metaphor has a great significance of cultural communication. From cognitive perspective,the essay has a further study of the reconstruction of metaphor in different languages by establishing the cognitive model of metaphor and its translating process. And at the same time,on the basis of analyzing the influence of different cultures on the metaphorical cognition, this essay puts forward the strategies and methods of translating metaphor in ancient Chinese poetry.
