摘要
通过对电子期刊概念、类型的分析和发展历史的回顾，总结了电子期刊所具有的优势。
Abstract Based upon the analysis of the concept about the electronic journal and the review of its development, this paper mainly explores three aspects of the electronic journal: (1) the advantages it possesses; (2)existing issues; (3)new challenges in the future, especially in the networked information environment.
