学习者英汉平行语料库同时收集学习者中介语(英语)及其相应的母语(汉语),语料收集尽可能考虑了中介语语料的真实性和广泛性。该语料库为中介语研究、外语教学及词典编纂等提供了从中介语和母语两个视角考察学习者中介语的全新平台。对学习者英语分裂句的调查则例证了其运用前景。

Learner＇s E＆C parallel corpus contains both the Chinese English learners＇ interlanguage and its corresponding mother tongue. The corpus makes it possible to examine the interlanguage from both the interlanguage and the mother tongue. A corpus-based ease study of it-cleft illustrates its great strength.
