摘要
《红楼梦》文本中存在一种有义无形,但不属于零式指称范畴的视觉主体。本文尝试提出隐含视觉主体的概念,采用证伪和证实相结合的方法,依据不同叙事视角下的客体特征和全知叙述者对于叙述的时空调控特点,对隐含视觉主体进行解析,并得出其确切所指就是全知叙述者的结论。在此基础上,本文根据视觉动词的不同篇章分布位置,参照《红楼梦》两部英文全译本,着重探究段首隐含视觉主体及视觉动词在译文中的处理方法。
In Hong Lou Meng there exists a kind of 'gazer' devoid of identifiable signifier and yet not belonging to the category of zero anaphora either. Defining it as the 'implied visual senser,' this thesis analyzes it from the perspective of narratology,paying special attention to the characteristics of focalized objects and the temporal and spatial manipulation by the omniscient narrator. The authors argues that the implied visual senser is none other than the omniscient narrator itself,and goes on to offer a discussion of its implications for translation.
