Because of the increasingly serious ecological crisis, ecological thoughts calling for nature protection are becoming grand in academic circles. Movies, especially Hollywood movies, as a magnifier directing its focus on ecological crisis, undoubtedly, have a more direct and sensitive power even than the academic circles. Hollywood movie makers are deeply reflecting on the disasters resulting from human beings＇ neglect of nature, and providing audience with brand-new audio-visual feel- ings. This thesis focuses on combing out the specific expressions of ecologism in Hollywood movies and reflecting on human＇s destiny through exploring the ecological meaning in movies.
