锁定加压接骨板治疗老年人桡骨远端骨折的效果

Locking compression plate for distal radius fractures in elderly patients

目的探讨应用锁定加压接骨板(locking compression plate,LCP)治疗老年人桡骨远端骨折的临床疗效。方法2004年2月～2006年5月,采用LCP治疗老年人桡骨远端骨折43例,对其进行随访,并对随访资料进行分析。结果43例患者全部获得随访。随访时间6～14个月,平均11个月,所有患者均获得骨性愈合。按照Gartland和Werley评分标准,优36例,良4例,可3例,优良率93%。所有病例均无内固定松动、骨折移位、肌腱损伤等并发症。结论LCP治疗老年人桡骨远端骨折临床疗效满意,尤其对于骨质疏松和(或)不稳定型桡骨远端骨折患者,能够牢固维持复位,有利于患肢早期功能锻炼。

Objective To investigate the clinical results of locking compression plate in the treatment of distal radius fractures in elderly patients. Methods The Clinical results of internal fixation of the distal radius with a locking plate system were studied in a prospective series of 43 fractures in elderly patients from February 2004 to January 2006 in our hospital. The final clinical functions were evaluated with the Gartland and Werley functional scoring system. Results The mean follow-up time was 11 months （ranging from 4 to 14 months）. Bone union was obtained in all patients. According to the Gartland-Werley Score System, the final results were excellent in 36 cases, good in 4 cases, and fair in 3 cases. There was no report of loss of reduction, tendon rupture, tendon irritation or implant failure. Conclusions The locking compression plate is safe and effective for distal radius fractures in elderly patients. It is especially suitable for senile osteoporosis fractures and unstable fractures of the distal radius, since it can firmly hold the reduced fracture segments and facilitate early postoperative rehabilitation.
