A Contemporary Survey of the Aesthetic Perception in Xiangxi Ethnical Groups

湘西少数民族审美观念是湘西各民族关于生命的诗性之思,既承载着中国传统文化与美学的渊薮,又凸显了湘西文化的地域特征和审美个性;其间诸多的原生态文化事项,不少被誉为中华古文化的"瑰宝家珍",但同时也存在一些消极的因素;对湘西少数民族审美观念文化内涵、形态特征及美学诉求的深入探寻与现代审视,发掘其当代价值,对优化传承少数民族原生态文化,丰富少数民族审美文化资源,促进社会的和谐与发展,具有重要的意义。

The aesthetic concept of Xiangxi ethnic groups is considered the poetic thought about life for all the nationalities in Xiangxi, in that it does not only carry on the traditional Chinese aesthetic and cultural connotation but also reveals prominently the regional characteristics. A lot of primitive cultural events in it, though some are meanwhile negative, are regarded as ＂treasures＂ of ancient Chinese culture. It will be of great significance to probe the cultural implication of the aesthetic perception in Xiangxi ethnic groups, survey the forms of the aesthetic appeal from these peoples and explore the current value for our society, which, consequently, will result in the optimization in inheritance of ethnic primitive culture, the development of ethnic aesthetic resources and the promotion of harmonious society.
