摘要
文化在外语教学中的作用越来越受到外语教师的重视,外语教师不仅要教授语言本身,还需使学生了解文化,提高文化交际能力。教师观念的改变很大程度上决定了外语教学的成功与否。本研究通过问卷调查西部某大学大学英语教师对其职业的自我认识,对大学英语教学注重文化教学及提高文化交际能力的观点,及对大学英语教学目的的认识。研究结果表明被试教师对文化教学的认识与教学观有密切关系,反映了他们的期望。调查对大学英语教学具有一定的启发意义。
English teachers have been aware that culture plays a teaching. They have to change their concept in teaching and methods. The survey investigates the College English teachers' on involving culture in their teaching and improving students' more and more important role in College English improve their perception self reflection about their in teaching goals and profession, their ideas cultural communication abilities in one of the universities in the Northwest part of China. The results show that there is a close relationship between teachers' conception about culture teaching and their teaching concepts and methods. The investigation has some implication for the College English teaching.
