The Situation of Terrorist Activities in South Asia

南亚是当代世界除中东以外恐怖活动最为剧烈的地区,几乎所有南亚国家都面临着严重的恐怖主义威胁。由于南亚恐怖主义的根源非常深刻,呈现社会动荡、政治不稳定、经济落后的状态,种族和宗教矛盾也非常复杂,恐怖主义将继续是南亚面临的主要安全威胁。

South Asia is the most turbulent area among the world except for the Middle East. Almost all South Asian countries are facing serious terrorism threat. Because of the deep roots of terrorism, including social turbulence, political instability, economic deprivation, and complicated contradictions among different ethnic groups and different religions, terrorism would be the main threat for South Asia in the near future.
