新型农民合作组织与农村妇女发展

建设社会主义新农村,是党和政府提出的构建和谐社会战略部署的重要组成部分,反映和体现了包括农村妇女在内的广大农民群众的强烈愿望和根本利益。党的十六届五中全会提出"建设社会主义新农村"宏伟目标以来,农村基础设施建设取得了一定进展,农民的生产生活环境也得到了一定的改善。党的十七届三中全会,再一次把中国的改革聚焦到农村。农村妇女是建设社会主义新农村、促进农村和谐发展的重要力量。新农村建设和农村妇女的发展相互促进、相互交融,农村妇女发展是衡量新农村建设成效的重要标尺,反映着新农村建设的水平和程度。探讨妇女在新农村建设中的地位和作用,总结农村妇女的进步与发展,分析农村妇女发展面临的主要困难和问题,并寻求解决的方法与途径,对于促进农村妇女发展、推进社会主义新农村建设,具有重要的理论意义和现实意义。本期所刊发的一组笔谈文章,主要从性别制度、性别平等、农村妇女主体地位、农村妇女社会角色、留守妇女问题等方面进行了探讨和交流。我们期待更多的学者关注农村妇女的发展,为社会主义新农村建设献策献力。

Building new socialist countryside is an important part of strategy on the construction of harmonious society put forward by our Party and government,reflecting the basic interests and strong wishes of numerous rural residents including rural women.Since the raising of Building new socialist countryside at the Fifth Plenary Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee of the Party,countryside infrastructure have made certain progresses,and peasants' living evironment has improved.The Third Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Central Committee of the Party focused reform on the countryside again.The rural women are the main forces of building new socialist countryside and promoting the harmonious development of country.Rural women's development reflects the leve/l and degree of new countryside.Exploring women's status and roles in the building of new countryside,summing up rural women's progresses and development, analyzing their difficulties and questions and advancing the method and way of solving question,are of theoretic and realistic significance to improve women's development and to promote the construction of new countryside.Publishing of these articles in this periodical(serial) aims mainly at making a discussion on gender equality,gender institution,rural woment's subjective position,rural women's social roles,etc.We expect more scholars and experts pay more attention to rural women's development,and make more contributions to the building of new socialist countryside.
