A Thought of Library in the Times of Cloud Computing

在半导体技术推动了计算机技术、网络技术等高速发展以后，节约能源、减少热排放、提高计算机利用率、提高存储利用率成为今天IT界最主要的话题之一。云计算就是继集群技术、互联网技术、互联网应用服务等大力发展后的一个新的绿色环保的话题。文章从计算机的发展历程，计算机发展过程中的问题，主要云计算环境的对比，总结了云的基础框架、云的应用模型、云的实现、云的商业管理四个特点。同时思考了图书馆在云时代可能的应用和机会。

When the application of semi-conductor technology has promoted the high development of computer and network, saving energy and reducing thermal emission to increase the utilization of the computer and its storage have become the most important issue in IT. Cloud computing is a topic newly raised on green environment protection based on the technologies of cluster, grid and interact application. This article summaries the four features of cloud computing in terms of fundamental framework, the applying model, its realization and the business management by reviewing the development of the computer, analyzing the problems occurred during the development and comparing the environment of cloud computing. It also gives a thinking of the possibility of library＇ s application and opportunity in the times of cloud computing.
