摘要
根据MIMO雷达的工作原理和回波模型,在传统最大似然算法的基础上,提出了MIMO雷达波达方向估计的最大似然方法。通过理论分析,给出了波达方向估计的一致性证明和估计方差的计算公式。理论分析表明,MIMO雷达的最大似然估计方差比传统的相控阵雷达要小,估计性能优于传统相控阵雷达。最后通过蒙特.卡罗实验对不同信噪比、快拍数和接收阵元数等情况下波达方向估计的方差进行了仿真,证实了理论分析的正确性。
Based on the conventional algorithm, the maximum likelihood DOA estimation of the MIMO radar is presented according to the principles and echo model of the MIMO radar. Subsequently the estimation consistency is proved, and the estimation variance is derived theoretically. Theoretical analysis shows that the variance of the MIMO radar is lower than that of the conventional phased array radar, and the estimation performance of the MIMO radar is better than that of the phased array radar. By means of Monte Carlo simulations, the estimation variance on different SNR, snapshots and receiving array elements are simulated, the results are consistent with the theoretical analysis.
