"多快好省"社会主义建设方针是中国共产党在对基本国情正确认识的基础上制订的,是兼具一定必要性与可行性的方针,体现了党对社会主义生产领域速度与效益、数量与质量辩证关系和国民经济按比例协调发展的早期认识。这一方针在"一五"计划实施的过程中发挥了一定的历史作用。

The principle of'achieving greater,faster,better and more economic results'in socialist construction was formulated on the basis of the CPC's correct understanding of basic national conditions.This principle was,to some extent,both necessary and practical and embodied the Party's early understanding of the dialectical relations between speed and efficiency and between quantity and quality and the necessity for proportionate and coordinated development of national economy.It played a certain historical role in the implementation of the First Five-Year Plan.
