Geologic features of the Co-Mo polymetallic deposit in Binghu Ditch and the potential of mineral exploration

冰湖沟铜钼多金属矿区与临江铜矿相邻,同处于鸭绿江裂谷边缘,其间分布着临江铜矿、惠山铜矿等矽卡岩型、斑岩型铜矿,具有相同的成矿地质环境,同是燕山期侵入岩,侵入到古生代地层,综合信息表明,该区具有较好的成矿潜力,有希望找到临江铜矿、惠山铜矿式多金属矿。

The copper and molybdenum polymetallic orefield in Binghu Ditch is adjacent to Linjiang copper ore, they both located in the brink of the rift valley of Yalu River, where distributed skarnic and porphyritic copper ore, such as Linjiang copper ore, Huishan copper ore and so on. They have the same geologic environment for min- eralization, they are both intrusive rocks of the Yanshan Stage, and then intrude into the Paleozoic strata. The sum- marized information showed that this area has preferable mineralize potential, and is promising to find polymetallic ore like Linjiang copper ore and Huishan copper ore.
