The difficulties and solution method in the construction of plastic drainage board for mud pool in Phase III Project and Expansion Project of Yantian Port are introduced. It is introduced that the machine for inserting plastic drainage board can＇t work upon the layer of fluid mud due to the low intensity of ground, the plastic drainage hoard will break frequently under the condition of thick reclaimed sand; the suggestion of standardizing the material of plastic drainage board are given based on the importance of a project and requirement of use.
