In early preparation works of hydropower station,engineering geological investigations in the proposed dam area are very crucial.Therefore,design organization with hydropower project investigation and design qualifications is required to carry out further engineering geological investigations to provide reliable data and geological investigation results for selection of damsite and dam type so as to ensure hydropower project to be constructed in safe and successful way.
