Goals and Policies of Japan's Ubiquitous Network Society

日本2005年建设世界最先进IT国家的目标基本实现以后,又提出了2010年建设泛在网络社会的目标。这标志着日本信息化的战略目标已不再是赶超世界先进的IT国家,而是在世界最先进IT国家的基础上领先发展,为国际社会作贡献。为此,日本政府制定IT新改革战略和年度重点计划,采取一系列政策措施,努力推进信息社会建设的新发展。

After essentially achieved its goal of building the world＇s most advanced 1T country in 2005, Japan further aims to building a Ubiquitous Network Society in 2010. This indicates that Japan＇s IT strategic goal has changed from catching - up to poineering leading the development of, to make contribution to the international community. To this end, the Japanese government develops new IT reform strategy and the annual plans, a-dopts a series of policy measures, to facilitate the development of informational society.
