On Chinese Women's Welfare Development and Problems since the Reform and Opening Up

妇女社会福利是社会福利体系中不可缺少的组成部分。妇女社会福利政策的实施,对于实现男女平等、提高人口素质、维护社会稳定都有积极作用。改革开放以来,我国妇女社会福利纳入制度化、法制化轨道,无论是覆盖范围、福利水平都取得前所未有的成就。但是当前妇女社会福利还存在一些问题。提高妇女福利水平,一是要进一步呼吁在国家福利政策中纳入性别意识;二是要进一步提高社会福利的社会化程度。

Women＇ s social welfare is an important component of social welfare system. The enforcement of women＇ s welfare policy is of great significance to the realization of gender equality, improving human qualities and defending social stability. Since China＇ s opening up, women＇ s welfare in China has brought into the category of system and law and its coverage and levels has achieved great achievements. However, there are still some questions existing in present women＇ s social welfare. To improve women＇ s welfare, we should advocate putting gender awareness in national welfare policies and make further socialization of social welfare.
