Commentary on the Relations between Russia and the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperative Organization

俄罗斯一直重视发展与亚太经合组织的关系,把发展与亚太地区国家的合作作为其国际战略的重要方向之一。俄罗斯为使其东部地区参与亚太地区经济一体化,参与和组织了亚太经合组织的一些活动,并与亚太地区国家在石油和天然气等领域积极开展合作,在亚太经合组织中发挥着日益重要的作用。特别是俄政府还表示要在滨海边疆区首府符拉迪沃斯托克成功举办2012年亚太经合组织峰会。

Russia has paid great attention to developing its relations with the Asian- Pacific Economic Cooperative Organization;to develop its cooperation with the Asian - Pacific countries is one of its important aims. In order to have its east area join in economic integration of the Asian- Pacific region,Russia has participated in and organized some activities of the APECO,actively carried out cooperation with the Asian - Pacific states in oil and gas fields and played an increasingly important role in the APECO. Especially Russian government says that it will hold a summit of the APECO in Vladivostok,the capital city of Primorskiy Kray in 2012.
