班克松球果及种子形态特征研究初报

Preliminary Report on Study on Morphological Characteristics of Cones and Seeds of Pinus banksiana

对班克松不同形状的球果及其种子进行调查分析,发现其球果长、宽、出种数、种子质量差异不显著;干、鲜质量差异显著;班克松种子千粒质量为3.506 g。对不同年份球果所产种子进行发芽试验,结果表明,发芽率未见明显差异,平均每个球果产饱满种子20粒。

Various shapes of cones and seeds of Pinus banksian were investigated. Result shows that： the differences among the length, width, number of seeds in cones, seed weight are not significant; the differences among dry and fresh weight of cones are significant. 1 000-grain weight for seeds of Pinus banksiana is 3. 506 g. The germination tests of seeds which are collected in different years were conducted. Result shows that there is no significant difference in germination rate, and there are 20 plump seeds in average cone.
