The definition and development process of Enterprise Strategic Information Systems(ESIS)are briefly described.Emphases are put on the content of information analysis in the process of development and its influence on ESIS.The article also deals with the enterprises' use of information to ensure the success of ESIS so as to create and keep their own superiority in the competition.
