摘要
首先分析经理信息系统的应用不断增长的原因，然后讨论经理信息系统的定义和特点。
This paper discusses some basic problems about executive information systems(EIS),a new kind of computer based information systems.The reasons that the applications of EIS have increased rapidly are analysed first.Its definition and the characters are then discussed.The differences among EIS and other kinds of computer based information systems are also studied.
