摘要

With the raw material of L-ascorbic acid and methyl stearate, the synthesis of L-ascorbyl stearate was studied by transesterification. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction time, ratio of reactant and amount of concentrated sulfuric acid on the transesterification were investigated. The experiment results showed that 77 % yield can be obtained under the following optimum synthetic conditions: molar ratio of L-ascorbic acid to methyl stearate ofl : 1.3, reaction time of 24 h, reaction temperature of 24 ℃ and molar ratio of concentrated sulfuric acid to L-ascorbic acid and methyl stearate of 1 : 0.10. The infrared spectrum andantioxidant effects of the product were also studied. L-ascorbyl stearate was synthesized by the transesterification of L-ascorbic acid with methyl stearate usingconcentrated sulfuric acid as both solvent and catalyst.
