两岸关系新境界与两岸共同体建设刍议

On a New Realm of Cross-strait Relations and the Community Building

1949年以来,两岸关系经历了60年的风风雨雨,而今,终于迎来和平稳定发展的新契机。两岸关系已由李登辉时期、民进党时期的"螺旋对抗"进入"螺旋上升"的新境界。党的十七大报告中提出要牢牢把握两岸和平发展的主题,建设两岸和平稳定发展的新框架。根本途径就是培植两岸更多的共同利益,建设两岸共同体,最终完成两岸的统合。

Since 1949, cross-strait relations have experienced ups and downs during the past sixty years, and now, finally usher in the peaceful and stable development. It has stepped into a new realm from the ＂spiral of confrontation＂ during the Lee Teng-hui＇ s tenure and the Democratic Progressive Party into the ＂spiral of promotion＂. The report of the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China addresses to firmly grasp the theme of cross-strait peace and development, and to construct the new framework of it. The author believes that the fundamental way is to cultivate more of the common interests between the two sides and to establish cross-strait community so that cross-strait unification can ultimately be accomplished.
