摘要
对于高矿化度地层水油田,利用中子寿命测井可有效区别油水层,但对于淡水油田,由于油和水的俘获截面相近,因此无法用其判断油水层。硼中子寿命测井就是对中子寿命测井技术进行改进而发展起来的一种适应低矿化度地层的动态监测新技术。它是向地层中注入高俘获截面的硼酸,增大地层水俘获截面,从而使中子寿命测井可应用于低矿化度地区,获取地层剩余油资料。该技术对于挖掘潜力油层具有重要的现实意义。
For some oilfields with high-salinity formation water, to use neutron lifetime log (NLL) can effectively identify oil and water formations. However, for other freshwater oilfields, NLL may not be used to identify them just because the capture cross section of both oil and water is very close. Boron neutron lifetime log, which is suitable to low-salinity formations, is an improved and modified NLL technology to dynamically monitor. In the boron neutron lifetime log, boric acid with high capture cross section is injected into formation; as a result, the capture cross section of formation water can be enlarged. So, NLL can be used in low-salinity formations and residual-oil data can also be obtained. The boron neutron lifetime log is significant for finding out petroleum potential.
