周代的夫妻合葬墓

中国历史进入周代以后,墓地中出现了一种新的墓葬格局——夫妻合葬墓。这种墓葬形式在整个周代虽较为流行,但却没有成为一种一般性观念在整个社会中得到广泛普及。由于西周与东周社会状况存在较大差异,因而"男左女右"的墓葬格局不是整个周代夫妻合葬墓中的一种定制。

There appears a new layout in the graveyard in the Zhou Dynasty - a husband and his wife are buffed in the same tomb. Though it is popular, yet it is still not extensively accepted by the whole society at that time. There exist a lot of differences in the social conditions between Eastern Zhou and Western Zhou, so the layout in a graveyard of man-in-the-left and woman-in-the-fight is not a fixed rule in the Zhou Dynasty.
