摘要
"以人为本"与孟子民本思想在时代背景、针对性、理论基础、主体外延、调整范围、政治目的等方面具有根本的区别,但"重民"的共同性和文化发展的历史继承性决定了二者有着密切的联系。应汲取孟子民本思想中的民主性精华,对其进行现代化改造,使之成为贯彻落实"以人为本"科学发展观和建设中国特色社会主义的动力。
The people-oriented concept is completely different from Mencius＇ humanistic thought in the historical background, pertinence, theoretical basis, subject extension, range and political purpose. However,the two thoughts are closely related due to the commonality of respecting people and historical inheritance. We should absorb democratic ideas from Mencius＇ humanistic thought and modernize them and make them become a driving force in carrying out Human-oriented scientific view on development and buliding socialism with Chinese characteristics.
