根据外语教材发展史上具有代表性的教材所体现出来的特征,尤其是所持语言观的不同,可将以往的外语教材分为文选型、语法型、会话型和交际型四种,每一种外语教材都有其产生的背景及特征,外语教材今后将往文化型、内容型、菜单型或者综合型方向发展。

The paper studies the features of representative coursebooks in the history of foreign language development, and divides them into four categories： anthology, grammar, dialogue, and communication. Each type and its influences are characterized in detail. It is also predicted that types of culture, content, menu, and comprehensiveness will lead.
