"龙氏家祠"是二十世纪三十年代云南省主席龙云命人精心选址修建,以供其还乡祭祖的家庙。"龙氏家祠"包含祠堂和宅院两大建筑群,祠堂分"三进"结构,由简到繁,层层推进。由于设计者们充分运用了礼制原则和美学原则,从而使"龙氏家祠"成为云南建筑的精品,作为祭祖家庙,其规模和建筑艺术当数云南第一。
