This paper introduces the development tendency of jet spinning technology at home and abroad, analyzes the structure and characteristics of jet spinning and puts forward that due to the differences of yarn mechanism and structure, jet spinning occupies better capability than common ring spinning. To develop new spinning technologies such as jet spinning is an important sign of spinning technology progress during the ＂Eleventh Five-Year Plan＂ period.
