在全面构建和谐社会的新形势下,社会对于人才培养提出了更高的要求,学校和学生本人也更多地关注个人综合素质的发展。第二课堂是高校育人体系中不可或缺的有机组成部分,要将第二课堂作为一个独立大课堂来建设,使之与第一课堂相辅相成,牢固构筑素质教育广阔的坚实平台。文章全面分析了高校第二课堂建设的内容和途径,并结合现状,提出了建设第二课堂应把握的几条原则。

Under the new situation of constructing harmonious society in all-round way, the society has put forward even higher demand on talents cultivation, and universities and students have also concerned more about the development of comprehensive individual qualities. The second classroom is an indispensable organic part in the educational system in universities. It should be taken as an independent classroom, complementary to the first classroom and built into a wide and firm platform for quality education. This paper makes an overall analysis of the content and approaches of constructing the second classroom and puts forward several principles based on present conditions.
