河南荥阳西司马遗址晚商墓地发掘简报

An Excavation of Cemetery of Late Shang Dynasty at Xisima Site,Xingyang,Henan Province

西司马遗址位于河南省荥阳市高村乡西司马村西北部,2005年6月,郑州市文物考古研究院和荥阳市文物保护管理所经抢救性考古发掘,共清理晚商墓葬82座,墓葬排列分布比较有规律,保存较为完整,随葬品较为丰富,这批墓葬的发掘对了解郑州地区晚商时期社会经济及历史文化状况提供了重要线索。

Xisima site lies at the northwestern Xisima village, Gaocun town, Xingyang city, Henan province. In June, 2005, Zhengzhou Municipal Institute of Archaeology and Cultural Relics excavated 82 tombs of late Shang dynasty. The tombs are stayed perfect, so the arrangement is ordered and the funerary objects are abundant. The excavation of the tombs provides important clue for studying the economy and culture of late Shang dynasty in Zhengzhou area.
