Green mine is a new thinking of mineral resources management and mining development under new situation. It is an only way to promote progress of mining economy. To realize sustainable development of the mining economy, it should take scientific outlook on development as guidance to build green mine comprehensively and to minimize harmful effects of mining activities on environment. According to economic development of Tangshan and the current situation of mining industry, it discusses the necessity to build the green mine.
