おoth local and nonlocal full kinetic dispersion relations of the toroidal ηi mode are analytically given, which include both the transit ion resonance and magnetic drift resonance as well as the finite Larmor radius effect. By comparing the growth rates of the kinetic toroidal ηi mode in both local and nonlocal descriptions, an applicable parameter range of the local approximation is identified.
